Distinguished Alumni Merit Award

Introduction
Thank you for your interest in nominating an alum for the Distinguished Alumni Merit Award, established in 1977. The Distinguished Alumni Merit Award is presented annually to those graduates who have exemplified the ideals of the University. The purpose of this award is to encourage public recognition of alumni whose lives and accomplishments reflect the University’s commitment of “service to others”. Any alum, faculty, staff member or friend of Gonzaga may nominate an alum.

Please write a letter of support and/or submit appropriate documentation indicating a summary of your nominee’s achievements and their importance. In your content, also submit a short biographical sketch of the nominee providing their current job, special training they’ve received, a summary of professional experiences, and key activities which you feel qualify them for this award (The alumni office maintains a continuous file on all nominations.)
