Message from the Dean,

Welcome! On behalf of the faculty and staff in the School of Professional Studies, we are delighted to introduce you to our dynamic learning community. Each of our programs celebrates the Jesuit tradition of educating the whole person from a center of ethics, faith, leadership, service, and justice. By virtue of being a School of Professional Studies, we strive to actualize the liberal arts. What does that mean? It means that the rich intellectual tradition of liberal arts benefits society by the work of the professions.

Our programs focus on the disciplines of health and leadership and the synergy created by the interactions between those two disciplines. Undergraduate offerings in the School of Professional Studies include the Comprehensive Leadership Program (CLP),Human Physiology, and Nursing for the adult learner 25 or older. Graduate programs include Nursing, Organizational Leadership, Communication and Leadership, and the PhD program in Leadership Studies, as well as Continuing Education offerings.

At Gonzaga we believe in the innovation that occurs when fine minds meet. The intellectual rigor required to meet the educational standards of the program combined with the thirst for learning lead to a transformation in thinking.
